Spanish for Health Care Professionals
This book’s updated version has a new verb list,
more vocabulary, more key phrases, and expanded exercise sections.
Its purpose is to teach English-speaking doctors,
nurses, and medical assistants basic Spanish vocabulary as a means
to help them communicate with Latino patients, who speak little
or no English. It begins with pronunciation tips and provides counsel
on listening comprehension, focusing particularly on words and
phrases health care professionals are likely to use in the clinical
setting.
The author also includes true-to-life dialogues to
recreate situations medical providers are likely to experience.
