Course Description: This
two-week session at Flamingo, Costa Rica — a Pacific-Coast
paradise — is an unforgettable experience.
The didactic material first concentrates upon grammar
and conversation, individualized to the student’s abilities.
Teachers then place special focus on relevant medical vocabulary,
patient / doctor dialogues, and the important elements of multicultural
awareness.
After classes, students can participate in optional
recreational activities, such as Latin dance, cooking, horseback
riding, and cultural attractions.
Included is a weekend excursion (except meals) to
Rincón de la Vieja, a site of thermal activity, and Santa
Rosa National Park, a cultural / ecological preserve.
