by body systems. It begins with an orientation, which gives the
reader an introduction to medical terminology.
It uses terms with which medical providers are already
familiar, and it then expands upon those terms to the point of
providing more complex terminology. Each chapter presents concepts,
illustrations, and exercises. And the end of the book provides
comprehensive review exercises.
The book also has programmed learning sections, as
a means to help users actively participate in learning through
immediate reinforcement and comprehension.
